Benefits in detail

Member Meetings

  • Purpose: Information sharing between industry and government on sector developments, activities and strategies.

  • Held quarterly for all AHC members and government observers. The mid-year meeting is also our AGM, where members can vote for the open positions on the AHC board of directors.

Technical Committee

  • Purpose: Develop industry position and provide input into regulations, codes and standards development.

  • Held quarterly in person or via teleconference for AHC members.

Infrastructure Committee

  • Purpose: Discuss and develop strategies for infrastructure deployment including facilitation of industry-government partnerships.

  • Held quarterly in person or via teleconference for AHC members.

Policy Advisory Committee

  • Purpose: Drive strategic focus areas of the organisation and shape development on government policy and regulation.

  • Held quarterly in person or via teleconference.

Working Groups

  • Purpose: Issues based working groups established on an as needs basis.

  • Open to participation for all AHC members and government observers.

Membership criteria

All organisations wishing to join AHC must meet the following criteria:

  1. Have a board/executive endorsed hydrogen strategy.

  2. Committed to contribute to AHC committees and the broader group through in-kind contributions i.e. resources, expertise etc.

  3. Have an Australian presence and committed to developing the Australian hydrogen sector as a whole.

  4. Agree to the AHC code of conduct.

Note all applicants require approval by the AHC board before being accepted for membership.
